We have settled on the town of
Alkmaar
in Holland, famous for its architecture and entertainment. Alkmaar
station is about 50 minutes by train from Schiphol airport (the train
platform is reached by lift from the airport arrivals hall) and the
hotel is easily reached by bus or taxi. Google maps and comments on
